Job Summary

This role seeks an Optical Development Engineer to elevate technology by planning, coordinating, and executing complex development tasks for leading clients. The core responsibility involves the development, analysis, and optimization of optomechanical systems and devices according to stringent technical specifications. Day-to-day activities include analyzing system requirements, performing system validations, setting up and conducting complex test scenarios in a laboratory environment, and creating detailed technical documentation and reports. Candidates must possess a completed engineering science degree, preferably in Physics, Photonics, or Laser and Optotechnology, coupled with initial experience in optical development and proven practical experience with optical systems. Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis is also required.
