Job Summary

This role is for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a major digitalization leader in Nuremberg, focusing on optimizing development and operational processes. Day-to-day tasks include the installation, configuration, and updating of development tools within virtual desktop environments, as well as the conceptual design and continuous evolution of technical solution architectures. A crucial part of the role involves implementing scalable software components using modern technologies and Cloud platforms, and proactively driving automation to enhance efficiency. You will coordinate image releases, provide essential support for the CI/CD toolchain, and enforce advanced software development practices, including Clean Code principles and automated testing. Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience in software development. Required skills include deep knowledge of modern software architectures, CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab, and experience in cross-functional teams. Negotiation-level German proficiency is mandatory for this position.
