Job Summary

This role is a critical first point of contact, supporting internal users with all relevant IT issues, including hardware, operating systems, and standard software support requests. Day-to-day activities involve managing user accounts and computer setups, providing technical onboarding for new team members, and assisting with the configuration and maintenance of the network infrastructure. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining technical documentation, managing the asset management system, and ensuring strict adherence to IT policies and security guidelines. The ideal candidate must possess a successfully completed vocational training or degree, preferably in (Business) Informatics, combined with initial practical experience in IT customer service, PC, server, or network support. Success in this position requires a high degree of customer orientation, strong analytical skills, and fluency in German (C1 level minimum). This permanent, full-time position in Cologne offers a hybrid work model (2 days remote) and 33 days of annual leave.
