Job Summary

This senior leadership role requires an experienced Manufacturing Department Manager to join the Switchgear Factory leadership team in Berlin, overseeing approximately 800 employees. The primary focus is ensuring occupational safety through the Zero Harm program, guaranteeing on-time delivery (OTD) of customer projects, and significantly improving manufacturing profitability and process efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing functional and disciplinary leadership, developing and implementing strategic manufacturing plans to drive growth, and coordinating extensively with internal stakeholders such as logistics, quality management, and finance. Candidates must bring a University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent professional experience) combined with excellent operational and strategic leadership skills in a complex manufacturing environment. The position is critical for the Grid Technology division, supporting the energy transition through reliable and sustainable grid solutions.
