Job Summary

The Westnetz GmbH, a major distribution network operator in Germany, is seeking an engaged IT professional to join the Business IT-Management team in Dortmund or Essen. This role is central to shaping the company's IT landscape by developing and executing the IT Portfolio Management strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for holistically evaluating and prioritizing IT projects using metrics like the Business-Value-Score, ensuring strategic alignment, and managing resource and budget planning. Day-to-day tasks involve creating IT roadmaps, overseeing multi-project management, identifying risks and dependencies, and developing crucial dashboards and status reports (e.g., in PowerBI, Jira, Uffective, ServiceNow) for IT management and corporate reporting. This position requires strong stakeholder alignment across all organizational levels, including E.ON Group committees, making excellent communication and analytical skills essential for driving the energy transition and strengthening regional infrastructure.
