Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged Engineer to join the Grid Planning team in Trier, focusing on strategic development and execution within the electricity (MV/LV/SC) and fiber optic sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently managing complex engineering tasks related to fundamental planning, concept development, and strategy. You will develop and implement comprehensive conceptual solutions, such as grid target concepts and regional planning, and handle complex connection inquiries (supply and feed-in) for customers. A key part of the job involves coordinating with internal departments, external companies, authorities, and customers regarding complex public planning requirements (environmental aspects, crossings, etc.). The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field, is enthusiastic about the dynamic energy industry, and possesses strong conceptual thinking and communication skills to drive process optimization and contribute to the energy transition.
