Job Summary

This role focuses on developing and executing the IT Portfolio Management strategy for Westnetz, Germany's largest distribution network operator, contributing significantly to the energy transition. Key responsibilities include shaping the IT portfolio for projects and services, evaluating and prioritizing projects using strategic metrics (like the Business-Value-Score), and ensuring sound resource and budget planning. The specialist will create and actively manage IT roadmaps and implementation plans, organize multi-project management, and handle risk identification and dependency management. A crucial part of the job involves developing and maintaining critical dashboards and status reports using tools like PowerBI, Jira, and ServiceNow to support IT management decision-making and ensure reporting compliance within the E.ON Group. Candidates must have a degree in IT Management or a related field, several years of relevant professional experience in portfolio and project management, and excellent communication skills in both German and English.
