Job Summary

This role is for a Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to join the newly formed BASF Coatings Cybersecurity organization, focusing on safeguarding digital assets and ensuring compliance across global operations. The specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating comprehensive security policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to international standards and customer requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, TISAX, GDPR, NIS2). Daily activities include maintaining the regulatory requirement framework, conducting detailed risk assessments of digital assets, and auditing both internal processes and third-party service providers. Success requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with significant professional experience, particularly 2-3 years directly managing regulatory frameworks and conducting audits. The position demands exceptional communication skills in both German and English to effectively coordinate with diverse stakeholders across all hierarchical levels, supporting BASF Coatings' digital transformation efforts.
