Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Electrical Engineer specializing in Grid Control Systems, playing a crucial part in securing the future of energy supply for the largest regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the continuous maintenance and development of the central network control system (Netzleitsystem) and network security management infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and future-proof operations. You will be responsible for central control technology, managing data models through image and data maintenance, and conducting bit tests to keep data precise. A key task is the further development of the balancing group management system to enhance network efficiency and transparency. Collaboration across various technical departments on exciting digitalization and automation projects is central to the role. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Professional experience in network calculation, control technology, or modeling is highly desirable, along with familiarity with network calculation software like PowerFactory, or a strong willingness to quickly acquire this knowledge.
