Job Summary

This role as a Power Grid System Operations Electrical Engineer is crucial for shaping the future of energy supply in Central Germany, focusing on the steering and monitoring of electricity and gas networks using modern control systems. Day-to-day, you will utilize your expertise to analyze complex processes within the meshed network, ensuring strict adherence to system security specifications during operational activities. A key part of the job involves developing comprehensive technical concepts that inform strategic decisions and coordinating collaboration with internal teams and external partners, particularly key customers. You will also identify optimization potential in network management, document technical processes, and support the integration of new systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses a fundamental technical understanding of energy supply and grid operations, and ideally brings professional experience in network control.
