Job Summary

This role is with MITNETZ STROM, the largest regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany, dedicated to ensuring a secure power supply and preparing the grid for the energy transition. Based in Taucha, the Electrical Engineer will join the System Control department, focusing on the management and continuous development of modern control systems for electricity and gas networks. Key responsibilities include actively maintaining and advancing the Network Control System and Network and System Security Management to ensure infrastructure stability, security, and future viability, while adhering to regulatory requirements (EEG, EnWG, NABEG 2.0). The position involves technical coordination of central control technology, meticulous data modeling, image/data maintenance, and the continued development of the Balancing Group Management System. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses professional experience in network calculation or control technology, ideally with knowledge of software like PowerFactory, and is eager to contribute to digitalization and automation projects.
