Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the future of network control technology for a major regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous maintenance and development of the network control system and network/system security management to ensure infrastructure remains stable, secure, and future-proof, particularly in response to regulatory requirements (EEG, EnWG, NABEG 2.0). Day-to-day tasks include managing central control technology, coordinating technical processes, maintaining data models through image and data maintenance and bit tests, and developing the balancing group management system. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses experience in network control technology or modeling, and is proficient or willing to quickly learn network calculation software like PowerFactory. This position offers the opportunity to contribute ideas to digitalization and automation projects within a collaborative team environment.
