Job Summary

This role involves driving technological progress by focusing on the development and optimization of simulation environments for analyzing electro-technical and mechanical issues. The engineer will be responsible for model-based validation of product ideas, utilizing techniques such as FEM, circuit simulations, and CAD modeling. A key component of the role is the development and implementation of future-oriented technologies in connection systems and electronic systems. The successful candidate will independently manage work packages, coordinate activities within publicly funded and cross-company research projects, and provide technical guidance and goal definition for internal expert teams. This position requires a degree in engineering (preferably electrical engineering or mechatronics), strong initiative, and 1-3 years of professional experience in an industrial setting. Proficiency in German and fluent English are mandatory for success in this research and engineering role.

Education

Completed university degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

Experience

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in an industrial environment (e.g., development, manufacturing, mechanical engineering)
  • Experience with numerical simulation procedures (e.g., COMSOL) beneficial
  • Experience with circuit simulations (e.g., LTSpice) beneficial
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks) beneficial
