Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Automotive Electrical Systems Designer focused on connecting people and technology by developing and constructing sophisticated on-board electrical systems for major clients. Key responsibilities include utilizing CAD systems for the design and development of wiring harness concepts, serving as the primary technical point of contact for clients and production facilities, and actively optimizing existing electrical system architectures. This involves implementing technical changes and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Vehicle Technology, or an equivalent technical qualification (Technician/Master Craftsman), coupled with professional experience in the wiring harness or design environment. Success requires strong analytical skills, a structured approach, acute cost and quality awareness, and mandatory fluency in both German and English for effective negotiation and documentation.
