Job Summary

This critical role seeks a skilled PLC Programmer and Automation Engineer to optimize and maintain complex production systems for one of Germany's largest dairy processing companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing process flows within existing facilities, focusing heavily on electrical engineering and measurement and control technology (MSR). Key daily tasks include troubleshooting and resolving errors in networks and bus systems, optimizing drive technology, and performing maintenance on control systems. You will also be heavily involved in the commissioning of new plants, supporting and programming systems using Siemens Step7 and TIA-Portal, and managing visualization systems like WinCC. The position requires a completed technical education in electrical or automation technology, robust professional experience in PLC programming, and the ability to work effectively within a mandatory 3-shift system. Strong organizational skills and fluency in both German and English are essential for collaborating with colleagues and external service providers.
