Job Summary

This role involves joining a new team dedicated to testing and refining advanced security solutions and tools for HVDC/FACTS systems at Siemens Energy. The IT Technician will be responsible for evaluating new cybersecurity technologies, planning and implementing IT/OT infrastructures with a strong focus on cybersecurity, firewalls, routing, and switches. A key part of the role is ensuring protection against cyberattacks by integrating the latest technologies and supporting the automation and optimization of production processes. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with control and automation teams, troubleshoot IT/OT systems, and contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring robust cybersecurity defenses for critical infrastructure.
