Job Summary

The Federal Environment Agency (UBA), one of Europe's largest environmental authorities, seeks a part-time Technical Assistant or Laboratory Technician to join the Air Measurement Network team in Lüder. This role involves the independent and responsible execution of chemical-physical measurements, focusing heavily on trace gases and aerosol measurements using specialized equipment (e.g., CPC, CRDS, CAPS). Key responsibilities include sampling, control, calibration, and maintenance of all measuring devices, alongside the conceptualization and quality assurance of procedures for measuring reactive trace substances and ultra-fine particles. The ideal candidate holds a relevant technical or laboratory assistant qualification and possesses strong expertise in measurement technology, laboratory data management, and quality assurance.
