Job Summary

This role involves developing complex embedded systems for an international technology group in Berlin. The Hardware Developer will be responsible for the design, component selection, and dimensioning of electronic circuits, ensuring compliance with standards and EMC requirements. A core part of the job includes creating and archiving development documentation (specifications, test documents) and collaborating closely with various departments, including layout design, construction, type testing, and software development. Day-to-day tasks also involve performing and documenting commissioning, functional, integration, and EMC tests, as well as supporting the introduction of new assemblies into manufacturing. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in circuit design using CAD software (e.g., Mentor DxDesigner) and simulation tools, extensive knowledge of EMC-compliant design in an industrial setting, and experience working within international development teams. This position offers long-term prospects and the potential for permanent employment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware/electronics circuit development and PCB design
  • Experience in EMC-compliant design in an industrial environment
  • Experience in measurement technology
  • Experience as a project team member or sub-project manager in various development projects
  • Experience in Total Cost Projects (Design to Cost, Design to Value)
  • Experience in working with internationally staffed development teams
  • Experience in programming hardware drivers (advantageous)
