Job Summary

This Senior IT Engineer role acts as the operational construction and operations manager for a critical Fullstack IT Solution supporting the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) in public source intelligence. The successful candidate will coordinate the setup, operation, and ongoing development of a central data center infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services. Day-to-day tasks involve leading technical experts, administering complex Windows Server environments (DC, AD, DNS), managing network components (Cisco switches, firewalls), and operating the VDI infrastructure (Citrix). Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Engineering and a minimum of four years of experience managing IT infrastructures and data centers.
