Job Summary

This is an exciting, permanent opportunity for experienced engineers to join the State Building and Property Management Agency of Saxony-Anhalt (BLSA) in Halle (Saale), working on the prestigious "Future Center" project—a key initiative for German unity and European cohesion. The role involves comprehensive project management and technical oversight for the construction phase, specifically focusing on either Electrical/IT systems or HVAC/Plumbing. Day-to-day responsibilities include steering and coordinating services based on HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), quality assurance of external planning offices, and acting in the capacity of the client/owner. You will manage schedules, budgets, and payment plans, ensuring compliance with building regulations and implementing modern methods like BIM (Building Information Modeling). A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field is mandatory, along with strong analytical skills and a willingness to undergo a security clearance.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or FH Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Information Technology, Energy and Building Technology, Supply Engineering, Technical Building Equipment, Mechanical Engineering, or Machine Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the relevant engineering field (desirable)
  • Experience in steering and coordinating construction services based on HOAI § 53
  • Experience in quality checking external planning and engineering offices
  • Experience in cost control and budget monitoring
