Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Quality Inspector focused on mechanical products within a leading aerospace and defense supplier specializing in safety and rescue equipment, including ejection seats. The primary responsibilities involve conducting comprehensive quality checks—including visual, dimensional, functional, and material testing—on mechanical assemblies during maintenance and repair processes. A crucial element of the job is meticulous quality documentation, requiring the creation, management, and verification of product-accompanying records, ensuring completeness and plausibility. The inspector will also continuously monitor maintenance operations and manage customer acceptance procedures and presentations of finished goods. Candidates must have completed vocational training in a mechanical field (e.g., Aircraft or Industrial Mechanic), possess experience reading technical drawings, and be proficient in MS Office and ERP systems. Experience in the aviation or safety equipment sector is highly desirable. This full-time, permanent position offers a 37-hour work week and flexible hours in Rellingen, Germany.
