Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Production Engineer specializing in electronics within the aviation and defense technology sector, focusing on ensuring product quality and optimizing manufacturing processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing quality reports, performing root cause analysis, and developing technical solutions with defined measures. The engineer will act as a critical interface between design, manufacturing, licensing partners, and quality management (including the German armed forces). Key tasks involve creating manufacturing instructions and work plans, validating configuration statuses, and compiling operational documentation. A successful candidate will drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing optimization potential in production processes and will take on sub-project leadership for operational performance and industrialization initiatives. Candidates must possess a technical degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics) and have 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing-adjacent environment.
