Job Summary

The Specialist for Building Services and Technical Projects will be based in Dortmund, supporting the KVWL (Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Westphalia-Lippe) in managing infrastructure projects within the healthcare sector. This role involves comprehensive project management, including planning, organizing, and supervising new construction and renovation projects. Key responsibilities include developing detailed project and timelines, calculating resource needs, and coordinating quality control for maintenance, modernization, and expansion of technical systems. The specialist will also independently perform repair and maintenance work, operate and monitor building automation and control systems, and provide technical support for events. Candidates must possess a Master Craftsman certification or equivalent technical degree in fields like Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with solid professional experience and expertise in building automation and electrical systems. This position requires flexibility for shift work and regular Saturday on-call duties.

Master Craftsman certification (Meisterausbildung) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics, or certified State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfte/r Techniker/in)

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning, organization, and supervision of new construction and renovation projects
  • Professional experience in coordination and quality control of technical system maintenance and modernization
  • Professional experience in the operation and monitoring of building automation and control systems
  • Experience with HVAC, climate, and refrigeration systems (Desired)
