Job Summary

Join one of Northern Germany's largest pathology institutes in Hamburg-Altona as an Immunohistology Laboratory Specialist. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the timely and transparent processing of complex diagnostic questions within histopathology. The core responsibilities include working predominantly in immunohistological diagnostics, independently performing both automated and manual immunohistochemical staining, and carrying out DNA in-situ hybridizations. You will also be responsible for the precise preparation of paraffin section samples. Candidates must hold a successfully completed natural science degree or vocational training as a Medical-Technical Assistant (MTA) or Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), paired with existing expertise in immunohistology and in-situ hybridization. The ideal candidate is reliable, structured, and capable of maintaining composure in stressful situations. This position offers a technically demanding and varied role within a modern lab environment and a competent team.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Natural Science Degree, Vocational Training as Medical-Technical Assistant (MTA), Vocational Training as Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), or comparable qualification with medical prerequisite knowledge

Experience
