Road and Transportation Engineer | Ingenieur/-in Straßen- und Verkehrswesen (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This permanent position seeks a skilled Road and Transportation Engineer to join the Route Planning department in the Northern region. The core responsibilities involve managing fundamental and project-related traffic demand and modeling, conducting comprehensive traffic technical investigations, and performing feasibility studies and expert opinions for network optimization and development. You will be responsible for the procurement and contract management of external engineering services, while providing expert technical supervision and consultation to project execution units. Success in this role requires a Master's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, specializing in Road and Transportation Systems, coupled with several years of professional experience in the field. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of German planning law (e.g., FStrG, StrWG) and relevant technical regulations (RAA, HBS).
