Job Summary

This Senior Principal Scientist role involves leading the entire lifecycle of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), focusing on development, industrialization, and subsequent management across the value chain. The successful candidate will define future technical and regulatory strategies for Drug Substance Small Molecules, collaborating closely with product supply stakeholders to establish sound manufacturing plans. A core function is optimizing chemical processes for small molecules and synthetic modalities, applying new chemical technologies to ensure production competitiveness. The position requires a PhD in organic chemistry with profound expertise in industrial process chemistry and significant experience in API submission, supply, and launch activities. You must be a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, capable of providing scientific guidance, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and communicating findings effectively in both German and English.
