Job Summary

This full-time position as an Academic Counselor involves significant responsibilities in both academic administration and specialized teaching within Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, focusing heavily on Sustainable Chemistry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in teaching physical-chemical courses (lectures, exercises, and practicals) for Chemistry and Pharmacy students, and coordinating the 'Sustainable Chemistry' Master's specialization. Key administrative duties include engagement in academic self-governance, coordinating the Chemistry/Economics degree program, and building industry networks for student internships. The role requires a PhD in Physical Chemistry (preferably Thermodynamics/Liquid Phases/Interfaces) and proven didactic skills, along with active scientific work demonstrated through publications in physical and sustainable chemistry. This is a vital role supporting the institute's research and educational mission, offering the potential for a permanent civil servant position.

Required Skills

Education

PhD in Physical Chemistry (preferably Thermodynamics, Liquid Phases, and/or Interfaces)

Experience

  • Professional experience in physical-chemical teaching (preferably including pharmaceutical curriculum content)
  • Experience in implementing and coordinating study programs
  • Experience in academic self-governance
  • Active scientific activity demonstrated by publications or projects in physical and sustainable chemistry
  • Contacts with private sector companies
  • Minimum two years of full-time professional activity in a scientific or private sector area following the acquisition of the doctorate
