Job Summary

This part-time (20 hours/week) Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA) position supports the Neurophysiology research group focusing on synaptic transmission in the olfactory bulb. The successful candidate will be crucial in managing the colony of transgenic rat lines, including planning, organization, and genotyping. Day-to-day responsibilities involve essential lab support, such as preparing solutions, managing chemical inventories, and executing core molecular biology techniques like DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. This role requires a completed BTA qualification, high reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
