Job Summary

This critical role seeks a Calibration Expert to serve as the technical and strategic coordinator for calibration technology within the Global Factory Network (GFN) Test Engineering division. You will be responsible for driving change management across multiple plants, focusing heavily on integrating new technologies, procedures, and advancing the digitalization of manufacturing processes. A core part of the job involves continuous market observation, identifying technological trends, and developing local technology roadmaps, including equipment selection and proof-of-concepts. Furthermore, you will enhance manufacturing quality using data-driven methods, including the application of Artificial Intelligence. The expert must ensure all calibration processes adhere to international standards by liaising closely with certification bodies like PTB or FORCE, identifying opportunities for competitive advantage through compliance. Success requires a Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering), extensive calibration expertise, especially in flow and pressure measurement, and experience leading cross-functional teams without direct disciplinary authority. Fluency in both German and English is essential for this globally coordinated position.
