Job Summary

This SAP Roles and Access Engineer position involves taking full end-to-end responsibility for the design, implementation, and operational management of SAP authorizations and workplace roles. Key daily tasks include conceptualizing and validating authorization concepts for SAP S/4HANA, developing and maintaining operational SAP workplace roles, and actively analyzing and optimizing existing authorization environments. The role requires meticulous documentation of developments and troubleshooting activities, utilizing planning tools such as Jira and SAP Solution Manager (Focused Build). Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science or Business Informatics) coupled with professional experience in SAP authorization and role building (ERP and S/4HANA). Deep knowledge of SAP Fiori authorizations and experience with agile development methodologies are critical prerequisites. The ability to communicate fluently in both German and English is mandatory for success in this role.
