Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious IT professional focused on connecting people and technology by supporting IT solution providers and developers. The day-to-day responsibilities involve performing rigorous hardware tests on various systems, including workstation PCs, servers, kiosk systems, and peripherals (printers, scanners). A key focus is on optimizing and automating installation processes for PCs and servers, maintaining the installation environment, and ensuring operating systems and drivers are up-to-date. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a completed vocational qualification as an IT System Electronics Technician or IT Specialist. Essential technical skills include deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments and Linux operating systems, coupled with expertise in creating Shell scripts for both Windows and Linux.
