Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Metrology Technician to ensure quality control through precise measurement and calibration activities. Key responsibilities include the measurement of stamped and plastic components, along with inspection gauges, and the development of robust measurement strategies and fixturing concepts. The technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining metrology equipment, specifically Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and profile projectors, and creating both tactile and optical measurement programs for series production and project phases. Furthermore, the role involves analyzing and documenting results, performing process capability studies, coordinating gauge management (monitoring and calibration), and providing essential training to shop floor personnel on metrological topics.
