Job Summary

This senior leadership role involves heading the Online Agency, a critical area within the IT core system division (rvSystem) of the German Pension Insurance. The Head of the Online Agency is responsible for the strategic direction, continuous development, and implementation of modern, customer-centric, state-of-the-art eGovernment services, such as the Customer Portal and online pension application. Day-to-day tasks include providing technical, disciplinary, and organizational leadership for a team of approximately 50 employees, developing the overall strategy for integrated digital service offerings, and overseeing development progress using appropriate metrics and processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with extensive management experience in software development, a clear vision for digital services, and deep expertise in agile methodologies.
