Job Summary

This Enterprise Architect role involves strategically shaping the IT landscape for the department, balancing the integration of modern technologies with the maintenance and modernization of existing legacy systems. You will be responsible for developing, advancing, and maintaining a sustainable, future-oriented IT architecture. Key tasks include setting IT standards and technology strategies for the German Pension Insurance (DRV Bund), initiating research projects, and developing prototypes. The architect serves as the central point of contact for all architecture questions, coordinating infrastructure strategy, and leading migration and modernization projects. Success requires a Master's degree in IT or a related science field, deep expertise in Enterprise Architecture Management (ideally based on TOGAF), and extensive experience with both classic (PRINCE2) and agile (SCRUM, SAFe) development methodologies. Required Skills

Completed scientific university education (Master's or equivalent degree) in IT, Natural Sciences, or comparable fields.

Experience

  • Long-term experience with classic and agile software development methodologies
