Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist will be a central and crucial member of the IT department, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of internal IT systems and software across the company. Day-to-day tasks involve taking ownership of support requests from employees via telephone, email, or ticketing systems, followed by the analysis and resolution of hardware and software issues. Key responsibilities include the administration of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and network technologies, along with managing user permissions and using Baramundi for software distribution. The role also requires close collaboration with all departments, coordination with external IT service providers during technical disruptions, and the creation of comprehensive technical documentation, instructions, and FAQs. Candidates must hold a completed IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), possess deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 and MS Teams, and have initial experience with scripting, preferably PowerShell. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, IT Merchant, or equivalent qualification).
