As an Associate Director of Automation, you will lead a cross-site automation team, focusing on industrial automation within a pilot facility in Mainz. Your primary responsibilities include overseeing global automation projects related to process/building control technology and automated laboratory devices, contributing significantly to the commercialization and development of individualized cancer vaccines. You will manage software development, programming, and implementation using Siemens systems, take charge of project leadership, resource allocation, and cost management for strategic automation initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing automation concepts, ensuring GxP-compliant processes, and maintaining high system availability. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in automation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
