Job Summary

The Federal Institute for Real Estate Affairs (BImA) is seeking an Engineer to join their Facility Management team in Pinneberg. This role involves providing expert technical support for building projects, focusing on technical building equipment. Day-to-day tasks include controlling technical specifications, ensuring project goals (cost, schedule, quality), and preparing for operational handover. The successful candidate will also prepare technical statements and expert opinions, provide engineering advice for managed properties, and optimize operational concepts for technical systems. This position requires a strong background in engineering, project management, and knowledge of public building regulations, contributing to sustainable and efficient property management within a diverse portfolio.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom (FH) or Bachelor) in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering), Technical Building Equipment, Supply Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Electronics, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

Professional experience in planning and executing large new construction, renovation, and expansion projects
Solid experience in project management
Desirable experience in technical operations management of heating and sanitary systems

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

Willingness to participate in training and business trips throughout Germany
Driver's license class B and willingness to drive official vehicles
Proof of equivalence for foreign university degrees (if applicable)
