QC Laboratory Technician, Viral Vectors | BTA (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is based in Berlin-Weißensee within an internationally operating BioTech company specializing in biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing. The QC Laboratory Technician will be essential in ensuring product quality by executing complex analytical methods for viral vectors, focusing on in-process controls, stability tests, and product releases. Daily tasks include establishing, qualifying, and applying methods such as qPCR/ddPCR, Western Blot, and ELISA, alongside performing routine physico-chemical and visual inspections. A core responsibility involves meticulous documentation, including creating and maintaining SOPs, analysis reports, and logbooks, strictly adhering to GMP standards. Candidates must possess completed lab technical training (BTA/MTA) or a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, ideally coupled with professional experience in an industrial or academic setting, and specific knowledge of virological or molecular biological techniques. Success requires fluency in German and intermediate English skills.
