Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Project Management Specialist focused on driving modernization and efficiency within the public administration in Merseburg. The core responsibilities involve comprehensive multi-project management, including developing standards for project work, advising strategic decision-makers on resource management and project prioritization, and overseeing the planning, steering, and monitoring of multiple projects within the district administration. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business processes, identifying optimization potential, and developing and implementing change management strategies to support organizational transformation. The specialist will also lead project teams, coordinate tasks, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, concluding with training and quality reviews. Key qualifications include a university degree in Administration, Economics, or Project Management, coupled with professional experience, ideally in public administration and process management. The position requires fluent German (C1) and good English skills, offering an attractive opportunity to shape new procedures and contribute significantly to organizational change.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Administrative Sciences (Public Administration focus), Economics (Business Administration focus), or Project Management. Alternatively, completion of a B II administrative training course.
