Job Summary

This role involves leading the business integration of GeoInformation (GeoInfo) IT systems, serving as a primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The Lead Expert is responsible for managing offers, contracts, and IT projects within the GeoInfo domain, ensuring the successful implementation and subsequent operation of IT solutions for the Bundeswehr's Geoinformation Service. Day-to-day tasks include deriving solution-oriented customer requirements, coordinating service delivery with internal units, and managing project leaders to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution of delivery obligations. A key focus is on quality assurance for solutions and adherence to agreed-upon customer services. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in IT or Business, coupled with at least six years of professional experience in planning and implementing IT solutions, ideally focusing on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), alongside strong project management expertise and fluent German language skills.
