Job Summary

This role involves working as a specialist in the Histology department for a leading veterinary diagnostics company, contributing significantly to diagnostic processes. The employee will independently prepare tissue and cytological samples, from receipt and cutting to the finished slide, which is crucial for pathologists to make accurate diagnoses and assist referring veterinarians with patient therapy decisions. Day-to-day tasks include operating microtomes, automated staining equipment, performing manual staining, and managing sample dispatch and equipment maintenance. The position requires reliability, precision, strong teamwork skills, and a positive attitude.
