This role involves providing comprehensive integration and administrative support to international professionals and migrants seeking employment in the region. The specialist will focus on removing barriers to professional activity, offering guidance and support, and strengthening retention factors for international skilled workers. Key daily tasks include integration management, collaborating with regional stakeholders, expanding existing networks, and facilitating community exchange. Candidates must possess a qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (such as a degree in Public Administration or equivalent), or a degree in Social Work/Pedagogy. Experience in migration topics, knowledge of foreigner law, and proficiency in various counseling methods like Case Management are highly desirable. Fluency in German (C1 level minimum) and possession of a Class B driving license are mandatory requirements for this varied and impactful position.

Required Skills

Education

Qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (e.g., Diploma in Public Administration, Administrative Specialist, Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent); OR a degree in Social Work, Social/Curative Pedagogy, Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (Social Work), or equivalent; OR a completed vocational training of at least three years.

Experience

  • Experience in the field of migration (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of Foreigner Law (Ausländerrecht) and various counseling methods (desirable)
  • Multi-year relevant professional experience (required if entry qualification is a 3-year vocational training)
