This role involves providing essential individual coaching and administrative support to individuals with a migration background seeking employment in the German labor market. The Specialist Job Coach is responsible for guiding clients through professional integration, offering advice on qualification and training pathways, and managing the transition process once employment is secured. Key daily activities include conducting courses, providing personalized application assistance, and actively collaborating with regional stakeholders to build and maintain vital professional networks. Candidates must possess a strong background in administration, social work, or a related field, coupled with fluent German (C1 minimum) and proven organizational and communication skills. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to facilitate successful professional integration and requires knowledge of regional labor market dynamics and, ideally, counseling methodologies like Case Management.

Required Skills

Education

Required: Eligibility for the higher non-technical administrative service (e.g., Diploma in Public Administration, Certified Administrative Specialist, Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent), OR a completed degree in Social Work, Social/Curative Education, Psychology (Bachelor), or Social Work (Bachelor of Arts), OR a completed minimum three-year vocational training combined with several years of relevant experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in counseling and supporting individuals in employment integration.
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of migration (advantageous).
  • Professional experience in conducting courses and application support.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience if relying on the three-year vocational training pathway.

Additional

  • Must possess a Class B driving license and willingness to drive. Knowledge of foreigner law is desirable. This is a fixed-term contract.
