Job Summary

This role is for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join a global industrial company specializing in innovative heat transfer solutions, located in central Hamburg. The position begins as a temporary assignment with a strong option for permanent employment. Day-to-day responsibilities include the full scope of AR accounting, active debt management, managing the dunning process, and coordinating with external collection agencies. You will be responsible for creating financial reports, conducting creditworthiness analyses, and monitoring established credit limits. The role requires generating manual invoices, credit notes, and commission statements, necessitating close collaboration with the Sales department and the Shared Service Center. Candidates must bring completed commercial training or equivalent professional experience, coupled with profound knowledge in AR accounting and credit management. Proficiency in MS 365 (especially Excel) and ERP systems is mandatory, alongside excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
