Job Summary

This role involves working as an Industrial Metrology Specialist, focusing on the creation and optimization of complex measurement programs. Key daily responsibilities include defining precise measurement sequences, selecting appropriate tools, simulating measurement processes for error correction, and executing and monitoring programs using specialized optical and mechanical metrology techniques. You will be responsible for archiving programs and measurement protocols, and coordinating closely with engineering teams and customers regarding data interpretation and prototype optimization. The ideal candidate is an experienced metrology technician with fundamental knowledge in measuring and evaluating both small and large components, and practical experience with industry-standard systems like ZEISS/GOM, HEXAGON, and MITUTOYO KMG.
