Job Summary

This role involves working for a leading European manufacturer of aircraft equipment based in Lindenberg im Allgäu, focusing on the quality assurance of materials. The Materials Tester will be responsible for executing mechanical and metallographic material tests according to customer specifications, general process, and approval regulations. Daily tasks include selecting appropriate testing methods based on component drawings and specifications, procuring and reviewing test plans, and setting up and calibrating testing and measuring devices. A critical part of the job is documenting and evaluating results, identifying defective assemblies, creating detailed error descriptions, and generating comprehensive test, investigation, and approval reports. The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training as a Materials Tester or possess a similar qualification, demonstrate a meticulous and structured work approach, and be proficient in MS Office programs.
