Job Summary

Join medl GmbH, a key municipal utility driving the energy transition and digitalization in Mülheim an der Ruhr by building the Giga fiber optic network. This critical role involves the professional management and supervision of both subsidized and proprietary fiber optic network expansion projects within the city area. Day-to-day responsibilities include rigorous construction site monitoring regarding scheduling, quality, quantity, and economic efficiency. You will contribute to creating tender specifications, managing the contract awarding process, reviewing execution plans for structural feasibility, and ensuring smooth collaboration between authorities, engineering offices, contractors, and customers. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering specializing in underground construction or be a certified Construction Technician. Key requirements include 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in cable laying/underground construction and fundamental knowledge of passive fiber optic technology.
