Job Summary

This critical role involves managing change orders and claims within complex rail infrastructure projects, specializing in one of the electrical engineering trades (such as Signaling/Telecommunications, Overhead Line Equipment, Cable Civil Engineering, or Railway Power). Day-to-day responsibilities include the precise preparation of contract-compliant change order proposals, meticulous analysis of contracts to identify opportunities and risks, and the efficient enforcement of compensation claims against both customers and subcontractors. The Claims Manager is expected to leverage strong negotiation skills and expertise in construction contract law (VOB) to ensure the economic stability and successful implementation of construction projects. The ideal candidate brings a background in electrical engineering, significant construction site experience, and the technical competence necessary to be an indispensable partner to the project leadership team, contributing directly to the advancement of sustainable mobility in Europe.
