Job Summary
This role is centered at the National High-Performance Computing (HPC) Center in Erlangen, focusing on the massive expansion of AI infrastructure and application support, particularly involving Large Language Models (LLMs). The successful candidate will be responsible for user support, developing and communicating organizational operating concepts (like onboarding), and coordinating administrative processes essential for long-term service provision (Service Management). A key component of the role involves demand management and promoting the center's advanced HPC and AI services to researchers across Bavaria and Germany. Candidates must possess deep technical knowledge of HPC systems, AI software pipelines, and practical experience with AI methods and LLM frameworks. This position requires a self-organized, goal-oriented individual who enjoys communicating with users and actively shaping the future of AI support and training within a dynamic, research-intensive environment.
