This Project Engineer role, based in Dortmund, focuses on the critical conception and planning of power supply systems within the water management and infrastructure sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include the development of complex electrical systems, such as low-voltage switchgear and installation systems. A core function involves generating comprehensive technical planning documentation, including network and lighting calculations, detailed circuit diagrams, explanatory reports, and specialized technical tenders. The engineer provides essential consulting, offering pragmatic solutions across all service phases defined by the HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers). Candidates must hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field, though dedicated graduates are explicitly encouraged to apply. Success in this position requires strong technical affinity, self-reliant and structured work habits, and excellent communication skills for seamless collaboration within interdisciplinary project teams. Fluency (C2 level) in German is mandatory for this role.
